CyanogenMod 10.1 offers enhanced camera for Sony XPERIA phones

Already a few weeks ago, the Internet came about that in the CyanogenMod 10.1 will soon be a new feature for the camera with which the XDA developers forum helped herself Sony Mobile. CM10.1 to Sony
CyanogenMod 10.1 offers enhanced camera for Sony XPERIA phones
XPERIA phones now offer significantly improved camera, which includes such as image stabilization, adjustable ISO, a selection of the many scenes or even HDR mode.It used to be a weakness of most camera Cyanogen ROM for Sony Xperia phones, but this has now past and will in the future it should all work correctly. For me great praise for the producer, but also for developers. Discussion on CM 10.1 Please also be directed to the previously established theme, but I wanted to highlight these innovations in a separate post. With the camera now works perfectly and Sony XPERIA T in combination with a new unofficial Android 4.2.2 pedals great. Of course, the new camera features not directly related to the quality of the acquired images, in this respect, I will try as soon as your article to add a real photo. Additional functions but certainly delight and although I had previously been rather opposed CyanogenMod, I'm becoming a big fan slowly bearing on the fact that the ROM to Sony XPERIA his profoundly finally approaching those available for the best phones from competition. Clean and very well skinnable Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean just something to be a pretty sorry that this ROM is not yet available for the model Sony XPERIA SP. If it were otherwise, I would probably be the bearer of this ROM, therefore if it will work correctly with LED strip below the display. That is getting off topic but today's article. How do you like the new environment of the camera?.

The phone is expected to launch in Europe with LTE during September ,but as this firmware (14.1.B.0.438) has been certified earlier than expected, there is a chance that we may see the HSPA+ version launch earlier than that.

The upcoming new smartphone from sony company is Sony Xperia C 'S39h/C2305' will see a very limited release as far as we are aware, hitting China exclusively via carrier China Unicom. The quad-core MediaTek handset is also believed to be heading to other select markets, but weve had no definitive word of where exactly that will be.
 Sony Xperia C
Anyway, we thought wed bring you some specs and features by hands-on videos of the dual-SIM Xperia C in action, since all we have published so far are the press images. RBMen says that in the hand the Xperia C felt quite cheap, despite the press images looking otherwise. The response of the 5-inch qHD touchscreen was good however. The handset was running Android 4.2.2 in the form of build version 16.0.A.0.28. Check out a couple of hands-on videos below.
the price of Xperia c :will be about $450 or $480

Android 4.3 custom ROM will available to Xperiaz soon

Google has not officially taken the wraps off the latest Android version, likely to be Android 4.3, however that didnt stop a leaked version appear for the Samsung Galaxy S4. That particular version was believed to come from the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition the vanilla Android version of the handset available in the US only. HTC One also has a Google Play Edition and recently strings of Android 4.3 was noticed in the devices Bluetooth certification.
Android 4.3 custom ROM
Well it looks like one enterprising developer, Taylor_Swift from xda-developers is looking to port Android 4.3 to the Sony Xperia Z (C660X). The custom ROM did go live for those with unlocked bootloaders, but the thread was closed earlier today whilst the dev fixes a whole host of bugs and force close issues. We dont know when the ROM will go live again, but its something to look forward to for those who like to tinker.

New Xperia Z Ultra Efficiency in an ultra slim smartphone

The Sony Mobile site  has just published a new promotional video for the Xperia Z Ultra (C68XX). The video highlights how the handset can be your (super-efficient partner)by creating notes using any pencil or stylus with its handwriting recognition and easily correcting typos. Notes can also be shared via email straight from the app.
It also shows off the one-handed keyboard, multi-tasking with small apps (which really comes into its own with a larger screen) and taking calls with the Sony SBH52 Bluetooth headset. We get a brief look at the new white UI in the settings screen too.

Xperia Z Ultra vs Xperia Z (video)

Need to know how the Xperia Z Ultras Snapdragon 800 chipset compares VS the Xperia Zs Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064...... Well the response times of both handsets are compared in the video below across various tasks.
There is no doubt the Xperia Z Ultra has the edge here, but its also worth remembering it sports a higher quad-core clock speed of 2.2GHz Versus the 1.5GHz speed of the Xperia Z. See the full video below

NTT DoCoMos Xperia GX and Xperia SX handsets get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Japanese users running either the Sony Xperia GX (SO-04D) or Xperia SX (SO-05D) will be glad to hear that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update is now available
The update is rolling out as we speak and updates the firmware version from build number 7.0.D.1.137 (Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich) to 9.1.C.0.475
 (Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean).

Additions include (Experience flow) themes, POBox Touch 5.4 character input (the width of the keyboard can also be adjusted), folder management in the app tray, seven home screens in the launcher, new features added to camera UI and new swipe-up Jelly Bean lock-screen. Sony has handily detailed the full list of changes on this website, we wish it would do something similar for western users when major new updates arrive.

The new Touch Block feature to prevent unintentional touches in Xperia ZR

A new feature to Xperia ZR (C550X) handsets called Touch Block. What this feature does is disable the touch screen to avoid unintended touches, such as under wet conditions. You can take calls as normal though as Touch Block doesnt interfere here. The Application is currently in beta with version 0.1.A.1.0 released. There is also a Small Application available for Touch Block to easily enable the feature. Sony may only be making this app available to water resistant handsets, although well have to wait and see.

Sony Honami system dump reveals new UI and imaging specs

a few days ago the system dump for Sonys new flagship, codenamed Honami, was leaked. The leak came from a Canadian carrier device with model number C6906. We cant say for sure that the C6906 model number definitely relates to Honami, but if its not then it is another device in the same generation. Well, as you can guess, it didnt take too long for the system dump to be analysed in detail and reveal a number of hidden secrets about the handset.
First of all:a number of strings in the build.prop have revealed some key specs for the handset. This includes :
Snapdragon 800 chipset, the ability to capture 20MP photos (resolution of 5248 x 3936) with a new Super Resolution algorithm set and record video at 4K (4000 x 2000) with aspect ratio of 2:1. Other camera features include ISO up to 12800 as well as a Steadyshot mode.
Other new imaging features includes Timeshift burst (glorified burst mode) which allows you to shift back and forth in time to enjoy and share the best moment. Sony has also created a camera API allowing the ability to add functions to the camera app called Xperia camera add-ons. Additionally, see some new camera icons below (from left to right): Bokeh, Info-eye, Manual, Socialcast, Timeshift and Effect mode.

Sony Honami system dump reveals new UI and imaging specs (20MP camera, 4K video)

Sony is also planning to release a new Augmented Reality app, with some screenshots mode. The third picture shows a number of different Augmented Reality modes.

A new app is Info-eye, the visual search app based on kooaba. The Info Eye app will have a new UX for Sony Xperia devices. We imagine this is something similar to Nokias HERE City Lens app, giving you information about the places you visit and the objects around you. Tap the question mark icon for capture tips. This is the app that was seen in yesterdays Honami render leak.

Music Unlimited integration in Walkman has been a long requested feature and it looks like this will be included too.

The icing on the cake is that along with all of the above new features, Honami will also come with a new user interface. See some of the images below which show the new launcher, app tray, Walkman app and new apps for clock, album, conversations, phonebook, settings, calendar. A new version of Small Apps allows you to place multiple apps in the screen at once.
